HI!
My name is Kaleigh Blue Malick and I am a 20-year-old, Filipino American from Lakeland, Florida. Upon completing my bachelor’s degree at Florida International University in December of 2023, I booked a one-way plane ticket to Kona, Hawaii for a six month Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
During the three-month lecture phase and Kona, we explored a variety of topics, including:
Biblical Worldview
Cross Cultural Intelligence
The Great Commission
Evangelism and Communication
Contextualization
Subjective and Objective Truth
Attachment Theory
Revival History
Authenticity of the Scriptures
After the lecture phase, we began Outreach! My school, Fire and Fragrance, sent over 200 students in various teams to 23 nations. For ten weeks I had the privilege of delivering the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people of Cyprus, specifically the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

I am returning to Youth With A Mission to begin my full-time missionary journey! On September 30th, 2024 I will start a YWAM secondary school called School of Missions (SOM) in…
BEIRUT, LEBANON!
SOM is designed to prepare students for a lifetime in missions. During the three-month lecture phase, I'll gain the tools to minister cross-culturally, pioneer new initiatives, contextualize the gospel, and receive God's heart for the nations. Afterward, I'll embark on a three-month outreach to a nation in the 10/40 window.
Home to over 96% of the world’s unreached people, stretching from 10°N to 40°N latitude and from Morocco to Japan, it is home to over five billion people. Despite this, only 3% of missionaries work here. Of the global church’s 6% of missions money, only 0.05% goes toward this region, that’s only five cents of every $100 spent on missions.

Paul Washer says it this way, “Missions is simple. There are only two ministries in missions. You're either called to go down into the well or you're called to hold the rope for those that go down. Either way, there should be scars on your hands. Where are your scars?”
